Or will you try and stand up for good and protect those that need protecting. Most of the story aspects of the game will happen organically, you take a quest for example and a story will open up. I do like this and get what they were going for, but I do wish that there was a tad more story about this actual world.
The gameplay on offer here is very interesting. I am sure when you see screenshots and when you read about how it is a post-apocalyptic setting and the fact it is an RPG has you probably thinking of all kinds of magical and mystical stuff. Well, that is not the case here at all, instead, you have an RPG that is much more grounded in reality in terms of the combat.
Speaking of which, you do not have as much control of the actual combat as I would have liked. The main aspect of the game is staying alive and protecting those who have joined you.
I ended up with a lot of people and I had them spread out all over. Providing shelter, getting new items, and so on s a massive part of what the gameplay is all about. This is a game that does have a rather steep learning curve and it does take a while to get into, but I feel it is more than worth it.
I had a great time with Kenshi and do feel that this is one game that was worth the wait. It is a very interesting RPG and one that does demand a lot of attention. For those that get sucked into this world, you are in for a really fun time. The setting alone really won me over and I liked playing the role of a guy who was trying to do the right thing….
