I do sometimes wonder if Microsoft does things specifically to force people to upgrade. Installing an older version may work but I'm betting Windows 10 will block the install. Still worth a try. That would be an easy fix. I suspect one may have to disable UAC and then adjust permissions to allow administrator write permissions to the System32 folder. That seems to be the simplest workaround for me.

Brand Representative for Microsoft. I think the solution to the problem may lie in the Local Group Policy Editor settings. There are about five settings for RemoteFX including encoding and compression. I am out of time to go any further on this until later.
